Friday the 13th . . .

For something truly frightening this Friday the 13th . . .
The Twilight Inspired Pride and Prejudice Book Cover
(I made a bit of a scene the first time I saw this in the store.  I'm sorry Stephanie Meyer, but Pride and Prejudice has nothing in common with Twilight.)

  1. I agree. Someone thinks he/she is "reinventing" an older story to appeal to this generation. Why does a story need to be "reinvented" when time has already proven that it's a classic?

  2. I dislike that the publishers think they need to use a fad to sell literature. There are also similar covers of Wuthering Heights and Romeo and Juliet. I can't understand, of course, how Stephanie Meyer thinks Twilight is actually based on Pride and Prejudice. They really have nothing in common.
